Brake Light Switch: Service and Repair

STOP LAMP SWITCH REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the floor air outlet duct on the driver's side.




2. Locate the brake light switch (1), situated on the left.
3. Turn the switch assembly with connector counter-clockwise.
4. Remove the switch and disconnect the connector.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the connector to the switch (1).
2. Install the switch (1) in the opening.
3. Turn clockwise in order to retain the switch in place.
4. Install the floor air outlet duct on the driver's side.
