Automatic Transmission Shift Lock Actuator Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Disable the SIR system.
2. Remove the automatic transaxle control assembly.





3. Using an electrical terminal pick, remove the solenoid electrical terminals from the connector body.





4. Using a 5/32 in drill bit, drill out the rivet attaching the solenoid to the control assembly.





5. Remove the shift lock control solenoid.

Installation Procedure





1. Route the shift lock control solenoid wires through the opening in the control assembly.





2. Insert the wire terminals into the connector body.





3. Position the solenoid to the control assembly and install the solenoid pop rivet with a rivet gun.
4. Install the automatic transaxle control assembly.
5. Enable the SIR system.
