Backup Lamp: Service and Repair

Backup Lamp Switch Replacement - Manual Transaxle)

Removal Procedure





1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the backup lamp switch electrical connector (1).





3. Remove the backup lamp switch from the transaxle.

Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the backup lamp switch.
- Tighten the switch to 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).





2. Connect the backup lamp switch electrical connector (1).
3. Lower the vehicle.
