Mode Cam Replacement



MODE CAM REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the storage compartment.




2. Remove the right side heater duct retainer.
3. Remove the right side heater duct.




4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the mode actuator.




5. Remove the mode actuator screws.
6. Remove the mode actuator.




7. Remove the mode cam.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the mode cam.
2. Rotate the cam to verify proper operation.




3. Install the mode actuator.
4. Install the mode actuator screws.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the screws to 1 Nm (9 lb in).




5. Connect the electrical connector to the mode actuator.




6. Install the right side heater duct.
7. Install the right side heater duct retainer.
8. Install the storage compartment.
