Revised Power Door Lock Switch Replacement

2006 Saturn VUE

This bulletin is being issued to revise the Power Door Lock Switch Replacement procedure in the Doors sub-section of the Service Manual. Please replace the current information in the Service Manual with the following information.

The following information has been updated within SI. If you are using a paper version of this Service Manual, please make a reference to this bulletin on the affected page.

When replacing a power door lock switch, it is necessary to first remove the door trim panel.

Power Door Lock Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the door trim panel (1).

2. Disconnect electrical connector.

3. Use a flat-bladed tool to pry the switch (2) from rear of the door handle assembly.

Installation Procedure





1. Position the switch (2) on the door handle assembly and push inward to seat the switch.

2. Connect the electrical connector.

3. Install the door trim panel (1). Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door.
