Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Remove the rear compartment spare tire cover.
3. Remove the cargo net, if equipped.




4. Remove the convenience net fasteners near the tail lamps, if equipped.
5. Fold down the rear seat back.
6. Unbend the metal tabs which hold the compartment trim in place.




7. Remove the compartment trim.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the trim panel into the rear compartment.
2. Adjust the trim panel to the desired appearance. Ensure that the forward edge is tucked behind the rear seat backs.






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the convenience net fasteners.

Tighten the fasteners to 2.5 N.m (18 lb in).

4. Bend the metal tabs which are used to hold the compartment trim in place.
5. Install the cargo net, if equipped.
6. Install the rear compartment spare tire cover.
7. Close the rear compartment lid.
