Front Bumper Impact Bar Replacement


Removal Procedure

1.Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

2.Remove the front fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .

3.Remove the energy absorber. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement .





4.Remove the electrical harness clip from the impact bar.





1.Remove the nuts that secure the impact bar to the lower tie bar.

2.Remove the impact bar from the lower tie bar.

Installation Procedure





1.Position the impact bar to the lower tie bar.

Notice:Refer to Fastener Notice .

2.Install the nuts to the impact bar.

TightenTighten the nuts to 30 N �m (22 lb ft).





1.Install the electrical harness clip to the impact bar.

2.Install the energy absorber. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement .

3.Install the front fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .

4.Lower the vehicle.
