Steering Wheel Shroud Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Disable the SIR system.
2. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module.
3. Remove the steering wheel.




4. Place the steering wheel face down on a clean surface.
5. Remove the steering wheel shroud screws.
6. Remove the steering wheel shroud.

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

Important: Make certain that the steering wheel inflatable restraint retaining clips (1) are in the correct position when installing the steering wheel shroud.

1. Install the steering wheel shroud and screws.

Tighten the steering wheel shroud screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

2. Install the steering wheel.
3. Install the inflatable restraint steering wheel module.
4. Enable the SIR system.
