Mobile Entertainment Data Cartridge Access Lower Door Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Turn the latch assembly counterclockwise on both sides of the mobile entertainment assembly. Lower the mobile entertainment assembly.
2. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the mobile entertainment assembly. Remove the mobile entertainment assembly from the vehicle.




3. Disconnect the door switch electrical connector from the mobile entertainment data cartridge player.
4. Remove the screws from the upper housing.
5. Remove the upper housing.
6. Remove the upper and lower door assembly from the lower housing.
7. Remove the fasteners from the lower door assembly. Remove the door.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the door to the entertainment system.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the door fasteners.

Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).




3. Install the upper and lower door assembly to the lower housing
4. Install the upper housing.
5. Install the screws to the upper housing.
6. Connect the door switch electrical connector to the mobile entertainment data cartridge player.
7. Connect the electrical connectors to the mobile entertainment housing.
8. Turn the latch assembly clockwise on both sides of the mobile entertainment housing. Latch the mobile entertainment assembly to the roof rail.
