Rear Door Jamb Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure





Important:
* Always use a new sliding door jamb switch. Do not reuse or try to adjust a used switch.

* When a new sliding door jamb switch is installed and the sliding door is closed for the first time, the plunger is forced into the sleeve and automatically adjusts the sliding door jamb switch for the sliding door.

Open the sliding door screw from the sliding door jamb switch bracket.
* Remove the sliding door jamb switch from the pillar.
* Disconnect the electrical connector from the sliding door jamb switch.

Installation Procedure

1. Connect the electrical connector to the sliding door jamb switch.




2. Install the sliding door jamb switch to the pillar.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

3. Install the screw to the sliding door jamb switch bracket.

Tighten the screw to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

4. Close the sliding door in order to reset the sliding door jamb switch.
