Shift Lever Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Position the shift lever boot out of the way (2).

2. Remove the retaining screw (3) from the lever.
3. Remove the lever (1).

Installation Procedure

1. Insert the shift lever (1) into the shift lever housing.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the shift lever retaining screw (3).

Tighten the screw to 7 N.m (62 lb in).

3. Position the shift lever boot (2).
