Automatic Transmission Range Selector Lever Cable Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the throttle body air inlet duct.
2. Use a flat-bladed tool in order to remove the automatic transaxle range selector cable from the cable lever and the bracket. Refer to Automatic Transmission Range Selector Lever Cable Replacement.




3. Remove the automatic transaxle range selector cable bracket bolts.
4. Remove the automatic transaxle range selector cable bracket.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the automatic transaxle range selector cable bracket.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the automatic transaxle range selector cable bracket bolts.

Tighten the automatic transaxle range selector cable bracket bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

3. Install the automatic transaxle range selector cable to the cable lever and the bracket.
4. Adjust the automatic transaxle range selector cable. Refer to Range Selector Lever Cable Adjustment.
5. Install the throttle body air inlet duct.
