Intake Manifold Cover Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Grasp the intake manifold cover in the middle of the right side and pull up in order to disengage the cover from the studs.
2. Grasp the intake manifold cover in the middle of the left side and pull up in order to disengage the cover from the studs.
3. Remove the intake manifold cover.




4. Remove the oil fill cap.
5. Remove the insulator.
6. Reinstall the oil fill cap.

Installation Procedure




1. Remove the oil fill cap.
2. Install the insulator.
3. Reinstall the oil fill cap.




4. Place the intake manifold cover onto the engine over the studs.
5. Push down on the intake manifold cover directly over the left side studs in order to engage the cover to the studs.
6. Push down on the intake manifold cover directly over the right side studs in order to engage the cover to the studs.
