Clutch Pedal Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the instrument panel left closeout/insulator panel.





2. Remove the clutch master cylinder push rod (1) from the clutch pedal arm integral stud.
3. Remove the clutch pedal position switches.





4. Remove the clutch pedal bracket to cowl nut (5).
5. Remove the clutch pedal bracket to cowl bolt (4).
6. Remove the clutch pedal bracket to cowl nuts (2).
7. Remove the clutch pedal assembly (1).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the clutch pedal assembly (1).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the clutch pedal bracket to cowl nuts (2).

Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 in lb).

3. Install the clutch pedal bracket to cowl bolt (4).

Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

4. Install the clutch pedal bracket to cowl nut (5).

Tighten the nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

5. Install the clutch pedal position switches.





6. Install the clutch master cylinder push rod (1) to the clutch pedal arm integral stud.
7. Install the instrument panel left closeout/insulator panel.
