Evaporator Drain Tube: Service and Repair



Air Conditioning Condenser and Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Replacement (L61)

1. Recover the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging
2. Remove the left headlamp. Headlamp Bulb
3. Remove the surge tank. Coolant Reservoir
4. Remove the washer bottle. Windshield Washer Reservoir
5. Remove the battery tray. Battery Tray
6. Remove negative battery cable from the wheelhouse liner. Battery Cable

1. Nut, Tube Assembly - A/C Receiver Dehydrator - Tighten to 10 Nm (89 in. lb.)
2. Nut, Tube Assembly - A/C Receiver Dehydrator - Tighten to 16 Nm (12 ft. lb.)
3. Washer, Sealing - Tip: Remove and discard the seal. Coupler HVAC
4. Nut, Tube Assembly - A/C Receiver Dehydrator - Tip: Position the A/C evaporator outlet hose to the side. Tighten to 20 Nm (15 ft. lb.)
5. Washer, Sealing - Tip: Remove and discard the seal. Coupler HVAC
6. Washer, Sealing - Tip: Remove and discard the seal. Coupler HVAC
7. Tube Assembly - A/C Receiver Dehydrator
