Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct.
2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the mass airflow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.
3. Remove the engine wiring harness retainer (2) from the air cleaner assembly.




4. Remove the air cleaner assembly bolt.
5. Pull back the air cleaner in order to disengage the mounting pins from the front panel, and remove the air cleaner assembly.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the air cleaner assembly and secure the air cleaner by inserting the mounting pins into the holes in the front panel.
2. Install the air cleaner bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).




3. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the MAF/IAT sensor.
4. Install the engine wiring harness retainer (2) to the air cleaner assembly.
5. Install the air cleaner outlet duct.
