Theft Deterrent Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Release the panel for the microphone (2) and the panel for the sliding sunroof control unit (3).
Release using a suitable tool (screwdriver).
2. Remove the lens from the interior lamp (1).




3. Remove the front interior lamp holder.

* Remove the 2 bolts (1).
* Release the holder (4) all around.
* Disconnect the wiring harness holder (2).
* Disconnect the wiring harness plug (3).





4. Remove the switch with the theft deterrent sensors.

* Disconnect the compact plug (1).
* Release and disconnect the wiring harness at the compact plug (arrow).
* Disconnect and remove the panel with the theft deterrent sensors (2).




Installation Procedure

1. Install the switch with the theft deterrent sensors.

* Install the panel with the theft deterrent sensors.
* Insert the wiring harness in the compact plug and lock.
* Connect the compact plug.


Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the front interior lamp holder.

* Connect the wiring harness plug.
* Connect the wiring harness holder.
* Connect the holder all around.

Tighten the 2 screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).


3. Install the lens for the interior lamp.
Install the 4 clips.
4. Install the microphone panel and the panel for the sliding sunroof control unit.
Install the 2 panels.
