Cellular Telephone Module Replacement

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution (Battery Disconnect Caution) .
1. Disconnect the battery.




2. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) compartment.

* Open the I/P compartment door.
* Remove the 4 bolts (1).
* Disconnect the wiring harness plug.
* Remove the I/P compartment.





3. Remove the cellular telephone module.

* Disconnect the 2 cable ties (1) on the control unit.
* Disconnect the 4 wiring harness plugs (2), base holder.
* Remove the cellular telephone module.
* Disconnect the 2 cable ties.




Installation Procedure

1. Position the cellular telephone module.

* Connect the 4 wiring harness plugs.
* Install the control unit.
* Connect the 2 cable ties.
* Position the wiring harness.

2. Install the I/P compartment.
Connect the wiring harness plug.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

3. Install the I/P compartment.

Tighten the 4 screws to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

4. Connect the battery.
5. For reprogramming procedures, refer to Control Module References (Programming and Relearning) .
6. Function inspection.
