Front Side Door Locking Rod Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) (Service and Repair)Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) (Service and Repair) .




2. Remove the lock knob control rod (3).
Release from the retainer (4).
3. Remove the locking knob (1).
Release the retaining clip (2) with a suitable tool.



Installation Procedure

1. Install the locking knob.
Place the retaining clip into position.
2. Install the lock knob control rod.
Install in retainer.
3. Install the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) (Service and Repair)Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) (Service and Repair) .
