Outside Rearview Mirror Remote Control Knob Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the protective cover from the inside remote control knob.
2. Remove the cover (1) from the upper extension trim panel.




3. Remove the upper extension trim panel (2).
Release the 3 clips.




4. Remove the remote control knob (1) from the manual mirror.

* Remove the 2 bolts, (arrows).
* Remove the mirror remote control knob.




Installation Procedure


Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

1. Install the remote control knob to the manual mirror.
Insert the knob.

Tighten the 2 bolts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

2. Install the upper extension panel.
Install the 3 clips.
3. Install the protective cover to the upper extension panel.
4. Install the cover.
