Removal Procedure

1. Open the hood.




2. Unscrew the closure bolt (1).
3. Clean the thread.



Measurement Procedure





1. Attach KM-498-B (2) in combination with KM-232 (1).

2. Start the engine.
3. Oil Pressure, Check
At idling speed, the oil pressure must be at least 130 kPa (1.3 bar) and the oil temperature must be ≥80°C.



Installation Procedure

1. Switch off the engine.
2. Detach KM-498-B together with KM-232.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

3. Install new closure bolt in the cylinder head.

Tighten bolt 15 N.m.

4. Check the engine oil level.
5. Close the hood.
