Heater and Air Conditioning Control Replacement

BO-46862 Radio Removal Tool


Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution (Battery Disconnect Caution) .
1. Disconnect the battery.




2. Remove the radio.

1. Remove the radio using BO-46862 .
2. Push the removal bracket into the openings (arrows) until it engages, press outwards and withdraw radio.
3. Disconnect the antenna cable (1).
4. Disconnect the wiring harness plug (2).
5. Release and disconnect the wiring harness plug.





3. Disconnect the heating control.

1. Release the 2 clips at top (1).
2. Disconnect the 2 wiring harness plugs (2).
3. Release and disconnect the wiring harness plug.




Installation Procedure

1. Connect the heating control.

1. Install the 2 clips.
2. Connect the 2 wiring harness plugs.

2. Install the radio.

1. Connect the antenna cable.
2. Connect the wiring harness plug.

3. Connect the battery.
4. For programming procedures, refer to Control Module References (Programming and Relearning) .
