Backup Lamp Switch: Service and Repair



Backup Lamp Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure





Remove the backup lamp switch (1).

* Disconnect the wiring harness plug from the backup lamp switch.
* Remove the backup lamp switch.



Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .


Important: Use a new seal ring.


1. Install the backup lamp switch.

* Tighten the backup lamp switch (1).

Tighten to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

* Connect the wiring harness plug to the backup lamp switch.

2. Inspect the transmission fluid level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Check (Transmission Fluid Check) .
