Intake Manifold Tuning Valve Actuator Solenoid Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise the hood.
Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution (Battery Disconnect Caution) .
2. Disconnect the battery.
Loosen the nut.
3. Raise the vehicle by its full height.





Important: Unlatch the lock.


4. Remove the intake manifold tuning valve actuator solenoid (2).

* Detach the 2 vacuum hoses (3).
* Disconnect the wiring harness plug (1).
* Unclip from the intake manifold.




Installation Procedure

1. Install the intake manifold tuning valve actuator solenoid.

* Clip onto the intake manifold.
* Attach the 2 vacuum hoses.
* Connect the wiring harness plug.

2. Lower the vehicle by its full height.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

3. Connect the battery.

Tighten the nut to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

4. For programming procedures, refer to Control Module References (Programming and Relearning) .
5. Lower the hood.
