Headlamp Control Module Replacement

Removal Procedure
Warning: High voltage-Do not touch components in the xenon dipped beam when the dipped beam is switched on. Ignition and light switch OFF.


Important: When replacing the control unit, before removing the control unit, carry out a "Reset" using TECH 2. For reprogramming procedures, refer to Control Module References (Programming and Relearning) .







Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution (Battery Disconnect Caution) .
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the headlamp control module.

* Remove the 3 bolts (1).
* Remove the control unit.




Installation Procedure


Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

1. Install the headlamp control module.

Tighten the 3 bolts to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

2. Connect the battery.
3. For reprogramming procedures, refer to Control Module References (Programming and Relearning) .
