Removal Procedure

1. Remove the roof side rail inflatable restraint module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Roof Side Rail Module Replacement (Sedan Orginal) (Service and Repair)Inflatable Restraint Roof Side Rail Module Replacement (Coupe Orginal) (Service and Repair)Inflatable Restraint Roof Side Rail Module Replacement (Sedan Replacement) (Service and Repair)Inflatable Restraint Roof Side Rail Module Replacement (Coupe Replacement) (Service and Repair) .





Important: The front fastening clip near the handle cannot be removed with EL-48557 . Remove the fastening clip with suitable pliers.


2. Remove the 6 fastening clips.
Insert the EL-48557 under the fastening clip and screw in, remove the fastening clip.



Installation Procedure

1. Use a touch-up pen matching the color of the vehicle to repair any paint damage.
2. Install the new fastening clips.
3. Install the roof side rail inflatable restraint module.
