Rear Seat Head Restraint Guide Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the rear seat head restraint.

* Press in the retaining clamp.
* Remove the head restraint upwards.


Important: Position I shows the lug to the right of the head restraint guide sleeve which must be pushed in for removal.


2. Remove the head restraint guide sleeve (1).

* Push the guide sleeve (1) upwards with a suitable tool (e.g. pointed pliers) and compress both lugs (2) upwards with a screwdriver at the same time.
* Pull the guide sleeves upwards off of the rear seat backrest.




Installation Procedure

1. Push the guide sleeve into the rear seat backrest until it engages.
2. Install the headrest
Engage the head restraint (audible click).
