Heat Shield: Service and Repair

Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Replacement (LNF)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the turbocharger. Refer to Turbocharger Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield bolts.
3. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Install the turbocharger. Refer to Turbocharger Replacement (Service and Repair) .
