Battery Tray: Service and Repair



Battery Box Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement (Without LAT-2.4L) (Battery Replacement)Battery Replacement (With LAT-2.4L) (Battery Replacement) .




2. Remove the battery cable cooling air inlet duct plastic retainer (1).
3. Remove the battery cable cooling air inlet duct (2).
4. Disconnect any electrical harnesses attached to the battery box.




5. Remove the battery box bolts (1).
6. Remove the battery box (2).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the battery box (2) to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the battery box bolts (1).

Tighten the bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

3. Connect any previously disconnected electrical harnesses to the battery box.




4. Install the battery cable cooling air inlet duct (2).
5. Install the battery cable cooling air inlet duct plastic retainer (1).
6. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement (Without LAT-2.4L) (Battery Replacement)Battery Replacement (With LAT-2.4L) (Battery Replacement) .
