Camshaft Position Sensor Replacement - Bank 2 (Left Side) Exhaust

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the engine mount bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Right Side (Service and Repair) .
2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (3) from the bank 2 exhaust camshaft position (CMP) sensor (6).




3. Remove the CMP sensor bolt.
4. Remove the CMP sensor.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the CMP sensor.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the CMP sensor bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).





3. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (3) to the bank 2 exhaust CMP sensor (6).
4. Install the engine mount bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Right Side (Service and Repair) .
