Introduction
If, during service, the dome fuse is removed or the battery is disconnected, the radio will need to be initialized to match the xB Equalizer model configuration (not required on the Scion xA model). Please follow the procedure in this bulletin to re-initialize the radio.
Applicable Vehicles
^ 2004 model year Scion xB vehicles.
Initialization Procedure
1. With the radio on, press and hold the SSP button until you hear a beep, and the current Equalizer setting is displayed.
2. Press the "+" or "-" VOL button to change the display to read "xB."
3. Press the SSP button to complete initialization.
