Shift Interlock Switch: Testing and Inspection

SHIFT LOCK CONTROL SWITCH (ATM)
INSPECTION

1. INSPECT SHIFT LOCK CONTROL SWITCH
a. Disconnect the connector of the shift lock control switch.
b. Measure the resistance according to the values in the table.

c. Connect terminal STP to the battery positive (+) terminal and terminal E to the battery negative (-) terminal, and apply about 12 V between terminals STP and E.
d. Measure the resistance according to the values in the table.
