Transmission Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

TRANSMISSION REVOLUTION SENSOR (ATM)
REPLACEMENT
1. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSY





2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER BRACKET
a. Disconnect wire harness clamp.
b. Remove the 2 bolts and air cleaner bracket.





3. REMOVE TRANSMISSION REVOLUTION SENSOR
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the bolt and transmission revolution sensor.





4. INSTALL TRANSMISSION REVOLUTION SENSOR
a. Coat the O-ring with ATF.
b. Install the transmission revolution sensor with the bolt.
Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in. lbs.)
c. Connect the connector.





5. INSTALL AIR CLEANER BRACKET
a. Install the air cleaner bracket with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 19 Nm (195 kgf-cm, 14 ft. lbs.)
b. Connect the wire harness clamp to the air cleaner bracket.
6. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSY
