Introduction

In high ambient temperature areas, some 2004 - 2005 model year Scion XA owners may feel that the A/C system does not blow cold enough air. This procedure provides a method to improve this condition.

NOTE:
Refer to TSB No. AC002-04, "A/C Not Cold Enough," for instructions to adjust the air mix cable.

Warranty Information

Applicable Warranty:

This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.

**Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.
