2AZ-FE EMISSION CONTROL: VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL PURGE VSV






(a) Install the purge VSV onto the air cleaner hose.






(b) Connect the 2 purge line hoses to the purge VSV.
NOTE: Make sure that the hose clip and mark are at the correct angle when installing.

(c) Install the wire harness clamp.
(d) Connect the purge VSV connector.
2. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
3. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform the initialization Testing and Inspection.
NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
