2ZR-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR






(a) Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring on the camshaft position sensor.






(b) Install the camshaft position sensor with the bolt (for intake camshaft side).
Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)






(c) Install the camshaft position sensor with the bolt (for exhaust camshaft side).
Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)






(d) Connect the 3 engine wire harness clamps and duty vacuum switching connector (for exhaust camshaft side).
