1. INSPECT BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY





(a) Check the operation of the door lock.
(1) Using a screwdriver, move the latch to the full-latch position.
(2) Apply battery voltage to the door lock and check the operation of the latch.
OK:





If the result is not as specified, replace the back door lock assembly.
(b) Measure the resistance of the back door lock connector.
Standard resistance:





If the result is not as specified, replace the back door lock assembly.
