1. INSPECT MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:





(b) Connect the battery positive (+) lead to terminal 3 and the battery negative (-) lead to terminal 8, and then check that the light comes on when the switch is in the DOOR position.
OK:
Light comes on.
(c) Connect the battery positive (+) lead to terminal 3 and the battery negative (-) lead to terminal 4, and then check that the light comes on when the switch is in the ON position.
OK:
Light comes on.
