2AZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: KNOCK SENSOR: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION





1. INSTALL KNOCK SENSOR
(a) Install the knock sensor with the nut.
Torque: 20 Nm (205 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
(b) Connect the sensor connector.





2. INSTALL NO. 1 INTAKE MANIFOLD INSULATOR
(a) Install the No. 1 intake manifold insulator.
3. INSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD





(a) Install a new gasket into the intake manifold.





(b) Install the intake manifold with the 5 bolts and 2 nuts.
Torque: 30 Nm (306 kgf-cm, 22 ft-lbf)
(c) Install the wire harness clamp onto the intake manifold.





(d) Connect the union to check valve hose.





(e) Connect the ventilation hose.
4. INSTALL FUEL DELIVERY PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
5. CONNECT FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
6. INSTALL THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY Installation
7. INSTALL OUTER COWL TOP PANEL Installation
8. INSTALL FRONT WIPER MOTOR AND LINK Installation
9. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER LH Installation
10. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Installation
11. INSTALL HOOD TO COWL TOP SEAL Installation
12. INSTALL FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH Installation
13. INSTALL FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH Installation
14. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM COVER Installation
15. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH NO. 1 AIR CLEANER HOSE Installation
16. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair
17. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK Testing and Inspection
18. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK

19. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER Installation
