DOOR LOCK: BACK DOOR LOCK: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY

(a) Check the operation.

(1) Move the back door lock to the lock position.

(2) Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 (ACT+) and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1 (ACT-), and then check that the door unlocks.

OK:

Unlocks

If the result is not as specified, replace the back door lock.

(b) Check operation of the back door courtesy switch.
