Solar Sensor: Testing and Inspection

HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: SOLAR SENSOR: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT SOLAR SENSOR (AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR)

(a) Check the voltage.

(1) Connect the solar sensor connector.

(2) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(3) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Use an incandescent light for inspection. Bring it within about 30 cm (11.8 in.) of the solar sensor.
