1NR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR: INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
(a) Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring.
NOTICE:
If reusing the crankshaft position sensor, be sure to inspect the O-ring.
(b) Install the crankshaft position sensor onto the timing chain cover sub-assembly with the bolt.
Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)
NOTICE:
* If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it.
* Make sure that the O-ring is not damaged or does not jump out of position during installation.
(c) Connect the connector of the crankshaft position sensor.

3. INSPECT FOR ENGINE OIL LEAK
(a) Start the engine and check that there are no oil leaks.
