SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEMS: OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU: REMOVAL

CAUTION:
Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing Service Precautions.

1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

Removal

2. REMOVE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU

(a) Remove the front seatback band.





(b) Disconnect the 2 connectors.





(c) Using a screwdriver with the tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the occupant classification ECU.
