DOOR LOCK: WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM (W/O Smart Key System): SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

1. WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

(a) The wireless door lock control system locks and unlocks the vehicle doors remotely. This system has the following features:

* The door control receiver performs the code identification procedure and the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) controls the door locks. A serial data link is provided for communication between the receiver and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).

* A key-integrated type transmitter is used and it contains the following 3 switches: the door lock switch, door unlock switch and panic switch.

3. SYSTEM FUNCTION

(a) The wireless door lock control system has the following functions.





HINT
With no door control transmitter in the ignition key cylinder (unlock warning switch is off) and all the door courtesy light switches off, pressing the lock or unlock switch of the door control transmitter causes the transmitter to output weak electrical waves to the door control receiver.
