LIGHTING (EXT): HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY: REPAIR

HINT
* Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
* The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

1. INSTALL UPPER HEADLIGHT PROTECTOR RETAINER LH

HINT
* If the installation area of the headlight is damaged, use the supply retainer for low-cost repair.
* Make sure that the headlight is not damaged.

(a) Cut off the part shaded in the illustration and smooth the area with sandpaper.





NOTICE:
After cutting off the part, place the headlight protector retainer against the bosses and file away the old retainer if it interferes with the installation of the supply retainer.

(b) Install the headlight protector retainer with the 2 screws.





2. INSTALL LOWER HEADLIGHT PROTECTOR RETAINER LH

HINT
* If the installation area of the headlight is damaged, use the supply retainer for low-cost repair.
* Make sure that the headlight is not damaged.

(a) Cut off the part shaded in the illustration and smooth the area with sandpaper.





NOTICE:
After cutting off the part, place the headlight protector retainer against the bosses and file away the old retainer if it interferes with the installation of the supply retainer.

(b) Install the headlight protector retainer with the 2 screws.
