SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEMS: SEAT POSITION SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

CAUTION:
* Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing Service Precautions.
* Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.
2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

3. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR

(a) Operate the vertical adjuster handle and move the seat cushion to the uppermost position.

(b) Disconnect the connector from the seat position airbag sensor.





(c) Disconnect the wire harness from the seat slide position sensor protector.

(d) Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the "TORX" bolt.





(e) Detach the guide and remove the seat position airbag sensor together with the seat slide position sensor protector.

4. REMOVE SEAT SLIDE POSITION SENSOR PROTECTOR

(a) Detach the guide and remove the seat slide position sensor protector from the seat position airbag sensor.
