Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

THEFT DETERRENT / KEYLESS ENTRY: ENGINE IMMOBILISER SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR; 2013 MY FR-S [03/2012 -]

1. CHECK FOR MAIN BODY ECU (NETWORK GATEWAY ECU) DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Trouble Codes.

(e) Check for DTCs.

2. CHECK FOR ECM DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Trouble Codes.

(e) Check for DTCs.

3. CLEAR MAIN BODY ECU (NETWORK GATEWAY ECU) DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Trouble Codes.

(e) Clear the DTCs.

4. CLEAR ECM DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Trouble Codes.

(e) Clear the DTCs.
