MIRROR (EXT): OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR: INSTALLATION; 2013 MY FR-S [03/2012 -]

HINT
* Use the same procedure for both the RH and LH sides.
* The following procedure is for the LH side.

1. INSTALL OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Retract the outer rear view mirror sub-assembly LH.

(b) Install the outer rear view mirror sub-assembly LH with the 3 bolts.

Torque : 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 6 ft-lbf)

(c) Align the matchmark on the wire harness with the harness clip on the body side, and install the wire harness.









(d) connect the connector.

2. INSTALL LOWER OUTER MIRROR COVER LH

(a) Engage the 5 claws and install the lower outer mirror cover LH.

3. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Front Door Reassembly

4. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Front Door Reassembly

5. INSTALL DOOR ARMREST COVER LH Front Door Reassembly

6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Torque : 6.0 Nm (61 kgf-cm, 53 in-lbf)

7. INITIALIZE POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM

Programming and Relearning

8. INSPECT POWER WINDOW OPERATION
