Disassembly

SEAT: REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY: DISASSEMBLY; 2013 MY FR-S [03/2012 -]

1. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK COVER

(a) Disengage the 3 claws and guide to remove the rear seatback lock cover.

HINT
Use the same procedure as for both the LH side and RH side.

2. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

(a) Remove the 4 clips.

(b) Disengage the hook and roll up the bench type rear seatback cover.

3. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER

(a) Remove the 10 hog rings and bench type rear seatback cover from the bench type rear seatback pad.

4. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK ROD LH

(a) Disengage the claw.

(b) Remove the rear seatback lock rod LH from rear seatback lock sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

5. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK ROD RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

6. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK RELEASE KNOB

(a) Rotate the rear seatback lock release knob counterclockwise to remove them from the rear seatback lock rod LH.

Use the same procedure as for both the LH side and RH side.

7. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and rear seatback lock sub-assembly LH.

8. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

9. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK RELEASE BAND

(a) Remove the screw and rear seatback lock release band from rear seatback lock sub-assembly LH.

Use the same procedure as for both the LH side and RH side.

10. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION BRACKET

(a) Remove the screw and rear seat cushion bracket from separate type rear seat cushion assembly LH.

HINT
Use the same procedure as for both the LH side and RH side.

11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER LH

(a) Remove the 40 hog rings.

(b) Remove the 3 hog rings and separate type rear seat cushion cover LH from the separate type rear seat cushion pad LH.

12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER RH
