Installation

SEAT: REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION; 2013 MY FR-S [03/2012 -]

1. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install the rear seat back lock striker sub-assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 33 Nm (337 kgf-cm, 24 ft-lbf)

2. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOOK STRIKER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

3. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER COVER LH

(a) Engage the 3 clips to install the rear seat back lock striker cover LH.

4. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER COVER RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

5. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY

6. INSTALL REAR WINDOW SIDE GARNISH LH Installation

7. INSTALL REAR WINDOW SIDE GARNISH RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

8. INSTALL QUARTER TRIM LID SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Installation

9. INSTALL QUARTER TRIM LID SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

10. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH

(a) Engage the 8 clips and 8 claws to install the luggage compartment trim cover LH.

(b) Install the clip to floor panel.

(c) Install the 2 clips. (w/ luggage compartment inner trim cover)

11. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

12. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH Installation

13. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

14. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH Installation

15. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

16. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

(a) Temporarily tighten the 2 bolts. securely





(b) Securely tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration to install the bench type rear seatback assembly.

Torque : 33 Nm (337 kgf-cm, 24 ft-lbf)

(c) Install the 3 clips and bench type rear seatback cover.

17. INSTALL NO. 1 CENTER CONSOLE SILENCER

(a) Install the No. 1 center console silencer with the 2 clips.

18. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Engage the hook to install the separate type rear seat cushion assembly LH.

(b) Install the bolt.

Torque : 13 Nm (133 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)

19. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
